The NFL announced this Sunday that the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, will be headlined by Usher at the Allegiant Stadium next February 11th.
The pop and R&B artist, defined by the NFL as “one of the most influential of his generation”, will take over from Rihanna, who performed at the last Super Bowl at the Stade Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
“It’s the honor of a lifetime to add a Super Bowl showcase to my dream list. I’m looking forward to putting on a show unlike anything you’ve seen from me before. Thank you to my fans and everyone who made this opportunity possible,” Usher said in a statement provided by the NFL.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show is a truly global event that attracts as much attention as thegame itself for thousands of NFL and music fans.
Usher, “an indelible mark“
During his successful career, Usher has sold more than 80 million records and established himself as a global star as a singer, dancer and entrepreneur. The singer of “Yeah!” and “U Remind Me” also stands out for his social work and has been raising funds to help low-income communities for 24 years, also thanks to his New Look Foundation.
“Usher is an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on a cultural level. We couldn’t be happier to have him this year,” said Seth Dubowsky, head of NFL’s music.
It will be the second edition of the Super Bowl in which Apple Music is the sponsor of theHalftime Show after attracting more than 121 million viewers with Rihanna’s presentation; while for the entertainment company Roc Nation it will be the fifth time it oversees this event.
