Errol Spence Jr vs Tim Tszyu: Fight Card, Start Time, and How to Watch

Errol Spence Jr. will return to the ring this Saturday, July 25, 2026, to face Australian Tim Tszyu in a 12-round middleweight bout. The event will take place at the Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia.

The bout, set at 160 pounds (originally planned for 158), marks a weight-class jump for Spence, who, at 36 years old, will look to reignite his career following a three-year layoff. The American fighter has not seen action since July 29, 2023, when he suffered the sole defeat of his career via a technical knockout against Terence Crawford. He currently holds a professional record of 28-1.

Tszyu steps in as the hometown fighter and enters with greater fight activity, boasting a record of 27 wins and 3 losses. At 31 years old, the Australian is coming off a unanimous decision win over Denis Nurja on April 5. His ring activity has been consistent during his opponent’s layoff, racking up multiple fights between 2024 and 2025 against opponents such as Sebastian Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev.

The move to middleweight will be the primary tactical factor, considering Spence’s last official weigh-in was 147 pounds, whereas Tszyu weighed in at 157 pounds for his previous fight.

This fight will test Spence’s physical adaptation following his lengthy layoff and weight-class jump. A loss could mark the beginning of the end of his professional career. Meanwhile, Tszyu will aim to leverage his home-field advantage and recent ring activity to secure the victory.

Initial betting odds position Spence as a slight favorite at -135, with Tszyu coming in at +105. The event is organized by TGB Promotions in association with No Limit Boxing, featuring a card with six professional fights.
