Yet another Copa America quarterfinal was determined on penalty kicks, this time it was Uruguay handing Brazil a painful elimination from Copa America by winning (4-2) after a scoreless draw during regulation.

Uruguay now advances to the semifinals, where they will face a surging Colombia which had an impressive 5-0 victory over Panama earlier in the evening, the only quarterfinal match not to go to penalties.
