Euro 2024: Spain vs England
Before the start of the competition, casinos had the English team positioned as the favorite to be crowned champion, while the Spanish appeared as third behind France.
The teams’ performances throughout the tournament, however, have upped Spain as the favorite to be crowned with a +145 odds, over a +250 of England.
Both teams come into this match undefeated in the tournament, the difference being that Spain has six wins to only three for England. La Roja is also the team that has scored the most goals, with 13 goals to England’s seven.
Historically, they have met 27 times, with 13 wins for England, 10 for Spain and four draws.
Of those 27 games, eight were official (non-friendly) tournament matches, in which England has also come on top with four wins, two draws vs. two victories for the Spaniards.
In the European Championship they have met twice, the first time was in 1980 in the Group Stage, with a 2-1 victory for England and the second was in 1996 in the quarterfinals, resulting in another victory for the English on penalties, after the match ended 0-0.
The last time they faced each other was in 2018, in the UEFA Nations League, where they exchanged victories, as both matches were won by the respective visitor: England 1-2 Spain / Spain 2-3 England.
The General lines for the Euro as of this writing are as follows:

+180 Draw
+250 England
Sunday’s match between Spain and England will be played at 3pm ET
Copa America: Argentina vs. Colombia
Argentina and Colombia will play the final of Copa América 2024 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Argentina ‘La Albiceleste’, is the favorite to be crowned since the tournament started on June 20th, while Colombia ‘Los Cafeteros’ started as the fourth favorite, behind Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
They have since eliminated two of these three front-runner teams in head-on competition, and now they are going for #1 on that list, who it can be argued, have not faced the same level of competition as this rising Colombian squad with its long international unbeaten streak.
This will be the first final in which the two teams will face each other in Copa America.
The Colombian team comes into this appointment with 28 consecutive games without defeat (the longest streak in its history), but the last time it lost was vs. Argentina in 2022, by a score of 1-0 with a goal by Lautaro Martinez. Meanwhile, Argentina arrives as both World Cup and Copa America champions, in search of back-to-back titles.
September 5, 1993, is a notable date for both teams, because in a qualifying match for the 1994 World Cup, Colombia beat Argentina 5-0, and since that match they have faced each other 25 more times, with 12 victories for the Albicelestes and only four for the Cafeteros, with nine draws.
In Copa America they have met 15 times, of which Argentina won seven, vs. three victories for the Colombians. The last time they faced each other was in the semifinal of the 2021 edition, in which they drew 1-1, with Argentina outlasting Colombia 3-2 on penalties.
On this occasion, on this final, and with the wind of their current momentum at their back, Colombia is looking for a very different result.
+128 Argentina
+200 Tie
+260 Colombia
The Copa America Final will be played on Sunday at 8 pm ET
